Australian twins The Veronicas return to the UK to tour with their third album “The Veronicas” this March.
Last year, their single “You Ruin Me” reached eigth place in UK charts in November and the single “If You Love Someone” is expected to do just as well – which will be released 1st March.
The Brisbane sisters are Jessica and Lisa Origliasso, who signed to Sony Music Entertainment record label in the last few months.
Their chart topping single “Untouched” is undoubtedly the most successful to date, breaking into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. They were the first Australian musicians to achieve such a success since Kylie Minogue released “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” in 2001.
The duo have sold over three million albums and singles since their debut in 2005, and have gained a worldwide fan base over the past 10 years.
In March 2014, the two began an Internet series called “Did You Miss Me?” documenting their writing and recording process as they travelled the world.
The latest album features a number of admired produces, song writers and artists, including Nellee Hooper (The Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Bjork), Toby Gad (John Legend, Beyonce, One Direction) and Emeli Sande.
On New Year’s Day 2015, The Veronicas announced that their Sanctified tour would extend to the UK in March, visiting Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton and London. The tour will then visit the U.S. in April and beyond.
