For my mix-tape I revisited some of the seminal Garage records that hold a special place in my heart, there’s some great bumpy vibes from Grant Nelson, Smack Productions and High Times and then I stepped it up with a couple of Speed Garage gems courtesy of Armand Van Helden and Peekay.
You can’t have an Old Skool Garage mix-tape without some Tuff Jam in the mix! I’ve gone for one of their remixes for US girl group En Vogue which is a personal favourite. I rounded it all off with a bit of two-step, in my opinion three absolute classics!
Tina Moore’s track which is for me the first ever two-step Garage record followed by some bass-heavy Sticky and finally a sing-a-long anthem by the legendary Wookie!
