Liverpool Sound City 2012: kicks off – full gig listings

Liverpool Sound City brings its fifth annual music and conference home to roost today and boasts a wealth of worldwide and native talent playing in more than 20 venues across the city.

Professor Green headlines proceedings tonight at Liverpool Arena with Home Again crooner Michael Kiwanuka headlining the newly-opened Epstein Theatre, formerly the Neptune Theatre tomorrow.

Rising stars performing include the SXSW showcase for Willy Mason, Willis Earl Beal, alongside Texas rockers White Denim, hip-hop soul star Ghostpoet, and local hero Stephen Langstaff.
