A pop up shop celebrating Jimi Hendrix has opened in central London to mark the release of a new album called People, Hell and Angels by the guitar hero.
The store on Ganton Street, Soho, will promote the new album of studio material alongside related merchandise and will be open through April, 12.
In the basement of the shop there will be ‘Jimi Hendrix Master Classes’ taken by experts from the Fender guitar company.
A photography exhibition featuring a new portrait of Hendrix – made from 4,000 Fender plectrums – will also be on public display.
The mosaic, which measures 105 x 80cm, was created by Manchester artist Ed Chapman.
