With everything going on in the world, its no surprise that on March 16th the Foo Fighters released a statement, and a list of new dates, about the postponement of their celebratory van tour. Although disappointing for fans attending, the rescheduled dates were released immediately, preventing too much confusion. Along with the dates, came this statement:

“Playing a gig with a sock full of broken bones is one thing, but playing a show when YOUR health and safety is in jeopardy is another…

We f—-n’ love you guys. So let do this right and rain check s–t.

The album is done, and it’s fuckin’ killer. The lights and stage are in the trucks, ready to go.

The SECOND we are given the go ahead, we’ll come tear s–t up like we always do. Promise,

Now go wash your hands.

Dave”

As if fans weren’t already excited enough for a new album, every source hints that it may be one of the best we’ve heard from the band yet!
