Manchester’s FOLKS have announced details of a new single and their debut album I See Cathedrals set for release this Autumn.

Say Something is the follow-up single to Skull & Bones which was play-listed at XFM and NME Radio and is released on 8th October.

The band has also announced its UK tour dates and will support Band of Skulls in November and December.

On the back of touring with Miles Kane, Noel Gallagher and The View, FOLKS have perfected their live shows, which has won over new fans across the country.

The band consists of vocalist Scott Anderson, guitarists Michael Beasley and Thom Fripp, Harry Gumery on bass, Wil Akroyd on keyboards and drummer Elliot Barlow.

The album I SEE CATHEDRALS, produced by Luther Russell was recorded in the US and contains 12 tracks and two bonus mixes.

Stretching from 60’s psychedelia to modern-day sounds, FOLKS’ influences are laid bare but come together to create their own 2012 take on guitar pop.

Two additional tracks have also been mixed by Ruadhri Cushnan who has worked with Macabees, Ed Sheeran, Mumford and Sons and Dry The River.
