Echo & The Bunnymen’s film Shine so Hard to play at FACT

A special screening of Echo & The Bunnymen’s 1981 cult film, Shine So Hard to open at FACT on Monday the 13th of Dec.

The film, produced by Bill Butt was filmed around the band’s concert at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton, January 1981.

The film shows the band playing four tracks live and is interspersed with cameos of the band showing off some of their personal traits.

Also being shown are two other Atlas Adventure films.

La Via Luonge, The Last of the Long Days (a ‘road’ movie, chronicling Bill Butt & Martin Atkins journey from Liverpool to Florence, via France, Switzerland & Italy in the summer of 1981.
Soundtrack by Will Sergeant, with excerpts from Heaven Up Here, by Echo & The Bunnymen.

Porcupine is a film of 6 promo videos from the album Porcupine all recorded at The Ministry in Liverpool – which was the then Bunnymen HQ.
