Clubbing institution Cream celebrates its coming of age birthday on Saturday 9th October as it turns 18 years young.

There are few who can equal the unparalleled success that Cream has achieved over the last 18 years. Beginning life in October 1992 as a 400 capacity club night located in a Liverpool backstreet, none of those who were there at the beginning could have envisaged Cream would be where it is today.

Its success is down to many things, not least its ability to evolve with the ever changing music scene but Cream’s fierce loyalty to its fans, and continuing dedication to deliver cutting edge line ups, production and that unique Cream atmosphere.

All of these factors and their attention to details is why Cream remains at the top of its game.

For this landmark birthday celebration Cream returns to its spiritual home Nation, the place where it all began, with an all star line up of Cream legends and breakthrough artistes.

First up taking control of the Main Room is German über jock and Cream Ibiza resident Paul van Dyk, DJ’s don’t get much bigger and for this very special event Paul will be playing an exclusive 3 hour set.

The Courtyard will be hosted by man of the moment Laidback Luke, following his roadblock performances in Ibiza, it’s easy to see why he’s become the breakthrough artiste of the Summer, whilst the Annexe will be headed up by Funkagenda.

Other acts rolling into town for the party of the year include genius DJ/Producer Afrojack, an artiste whose popularity has hit the heady heights of superstardom over the last year, following a series of collaborations with international artistes like David Guetta, Chuckie, Laidback Luke and Steve Angello.

Other acts include deadmau5 label mates Chris Lake and Michael Woods, Adam Sheridan and our very own superstar DJ’s the Cream Residents Andy Mac, Gareth Wyn, Anthony Probyn, Jemmy and Rob Harnetty.

So raise your glass to Cream, probably the best dancefloor in the world!
