Erol Alkan goes toe to toe with his spiritual German brother, the riot-inducing Boys Noize at Chibuku on the 2nd of Oct.

Alkan’s ferocious rock n rave aesthetic has expanded tremendously since he first exploded into the clubbing world in the early years of the twenty first century.

Alex Ridha, as his passport reveals Boys Noize to be, is just as prominent. Coming off the strength of that Bloc Party remix in 2005, since then he has started his own label, smashed a Bugged Out compilation out and a Mixmag cover mix.

Pitting his wits against a man once his benchmark but now resolutely his peer, this looks set to be an iconic moment in Chibuku’s musical history.

The Loft sees a very special drum n bass head swing through, the excitement is sure to build as the identity of the artist has yet to be announced.

Whilst the TBA allows for the anticipation to start, that is strengthened by the definites kicking off the fun. Subfocus plays live, bringing his techno influenced sound to the stage for the very first time at a Chibuku show.

His dark, futuristic DJ sets have always been welcomed; this gives him the opportunity to showcase his breathtaking productions. Scouse jungle tyrant Futurebound will be in support.

Ink will welcome the mellow dubstep pioneer and rave assassin Joy Orbison to the fold. Support comes from widely tipped star Roska, the brilliantly funky producer who has got the housier side of the scene excited.
