The Ohio based blues rock duo have drafted in some of rap’s finest for the follow up to 2009’s hugely underrated rap/rock album – Blakroc.

Jay-Z’s former partner Dame Dash is overseeing the project again and the sequel will feature Talib Kweli, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Jim Jones and Jay Electronica.

Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have been busy already this year, recently finishing the Danger Mouse produced follow up to 2010’s Brothers.

Check out the video box for the album’s teaser trailer, an insight into the genre merging creative process and blatant disregard for smoking laws in a work place.

Blakroc 2 does not have a release date yet.
