Bat For Lashes’ highly anticipated third album The Haunted Man is set for release on 15 October 2012 via Parlophone.
A full UK tour has been announced for the Autumn, with Natasha Khan playing The Forum in London on 29th October, kicking off a Summer of festival appearances including Latitude and Bestival, with an intimate warm-up show in Cambridge.
Since releasing the universally acclaimed album Two Suns in 2009, which has now sold over 250,000 copies, Natasha toured South America with Coldplay in 2010, collaborated with Beck to write a song for the Twilight film Eclipse, headlined two sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House in June 2011 and covered Depeche Mode’s Strangelove for Gucci’s Guilty campaign, released on limited release on 7” vinyl for this year’s Record Store Day.
Natasha has released two albums under the guise of Bat for Lashes. Her debut Fur And Gold came out in 2006 and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and earned two Brit Award nominations for Best Female and Best Newcomer. Two Suns was also Mercury and Brit nominated, as well as winning Natasha an Ivor Novello song-writing award for Daniel for Best Contemporary Song.
