Liverpool singer Jonny Andrew has released his debut solo single “Stay With You” with all it’s earnings being donated to Claire House Children’s Hospice and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

A former member of The Vareses, Jonny’s singing talent was picked up by BBC Introducing and LFC TV and he has also been nominated for the MTV Brand New Nominee twice.

Jonny said: “My debut solo single – Stay With You – will be released this Monday, and it’s about things happening for a reason.”

The singer songwriter performs with artists from all over the world and is currently working in Miami and Memphis for his solo album, but before it went into production Jonny decided he wanted to give something back to his home town.

He added: “I wrote it about six months ago while I was still debating whether or not to carry on after leaving the band. I then decided to move forward and go it alone.

“One of the questions people always ask is about the money and like all real musicians it’s not about the money, so I thought it would be better to donate all income from my debut solo single to two great charities.

“I couldn’t decide between the two so thought I would split it fifty-fifty and also give a cut of the album sales to both charities when it’s released in September 2014.”

All the sales from “Stay With You” will be donated to Claire House Children’s Hospice and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Charity.
