If you a budding filmmaker aged 15-19 this could be the a priceless opportunity to learn from BAFTA nominated producer Sol Papadopoulos (Of Time and The City).

Sol will be in Bristol on July, 9 for a very special day of workshops at the Knowle West Media Centre offering his pearls of wisdom to upcoming talent.

Aimed at young filmmakers and more established filmmaking talent, BAFTA are bringing the producing team plus two of the young stars and writers of the film to Bristol to share and inspire emerging and established filmmaking talent to work together.

The day will kick off with a How To workshop that will focus on essentail information you will need to bring your script to the big screen.

The morning will include a brief script writing exercise and info on where to find funds for your film.

The Under the Mud folks will also be talking you through the process, from writing the script and sourcing the cash, to shooting and editing your film and finally, getting it seen.

The afternoon workshop will be a more in-depth screenwriting session, putting your ideas through their paces as they work through how to develop stories for the big screen and turn your ideas into workable film projects.

Places are limited so if you want to take part in either workshop please email regions@bafta.org by Wed 30th June.
