Hangover fans will now have a third actor playing the role of a tattoo artist in the Bangok based sequel.
The part, originally bagged by Mel Gibson and then later by Liam Neeson, has now gone to Nick Cassavetes (Face/Off).
Liam Neeson had recorded the scene after an on set feud between Gibson and various members of the crew led to the dismissal of the Lethal Weapon man.
But necessary re-shoots and scheduling conflicts has meant that director Todd Phillips has had to cut the Taken stars scenes and recast the role.
“We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part,” Phillips told Variety. “He came in and crushed it.”
You can see Nick’s scene when The Hangover 2 reaches cinemas world wide on May 16th
