After the #wandsready announcement teaser, Warner Bros. have finally revealed the first teaser for J. K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
In the follow up to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Johnny Depp’s Gellert Grindelwald has escaped custody and has set about gathering followers. In an attempt to stop him, Hogwarts professor Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander to help.
Eddie Redmayne returns as the magizoologist alongside Katherine Waterstone as Tina, Dan Fogler as Jacob and Alison Sudol as Queenie, with Jude Law joining as the younger Dumbledore.
We will also see key figures from the wizarding world, including Zoe Kravitz as Newt’s former schoolmate and friend Leta Lestrange and Brontis Jodorowsky as the maker of the Philosopher’s Stone Nicolas Flamel.
J. K. Rowling returns to write the latest instalment that will be largely set in Paris in the year 1927, with David Yates resuming directing duties after his work on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) through to Fantastic Beasts (2016).
So far, this film looks amazing and many fans are eager to return to Wizarding World. And with a brief look at an 1920’s era Hogwarts, the anticipation for this movie has truly increased.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released on 16th November 2018.
