The all star cast of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained has undergone more last minute changes with Kurt Russell and Sacha Baron Cohen both dropping out.
Death Proof star Kurt Russell, who was set step in as slave trainer Ace Woody after Kevin Costner quit — has also opted out for unknown reasons.
Speaking on Howard Stern’s radio show Sacha Baron Cohen said it was regrettable that he had to step down and it was due to promotional commitments on his new movie The Dictator.
Other cast changes include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who said he was unable to participate due to conflicting schedules.
The film has already endured a rotating cast with earlier reports suggesting Tarantino wanted Will Smith for the lead role, but it has been given to Jamie Foxx.
The movie is currently filming in New Orleans and stars Foxx as Django, a slave who sets out to free his wife from a wicked plantation owner played by DiCaprio.
The movie is set for a Christmas Day release.
