The long awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s 80s classic has finally been given the green light after a 20 year wait.
Warner Brothers have secured the writing talents of Seth Grahame-Smith, after penning screenplays for Dark Shadows and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
None of the original cast has been confirmed to appear, although Michael Keaton has voiced some interest. Tim Burton has remained silent about his involvement in the project.
One thing for sure is that this will not be a remake. The story is to carry on from the original.
The schedule for production is yet to be announced.
