Star-crossed lovers can head over to FACT cinema this Valentine’s day for a host of treats and special screenings.
On February, 14 there will be a screening of the iconic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The classic adaptation of the Truman Capote novel sees Audrey Hepburn in her most famous role as the Manhattan callgirl Holly Golightly who has an on-off relationship with writer Paul Varjak.
This will be followed by a screening of the romantic classic Casablanca on February, 16. Set in World-War-II, the film centres around an American saloon owner played by Humphrey Bogart, drawn into a love triangle and a web of political intrigue in Morocco after his lost love turns up.
Also showing on February, 14 is the Valentine’s preview of Only Lovers Left Alive, a gripping vampire tale featuring an all star cast including Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton and Mia Wasikowska.
For the ladies that want to impress this Valentine’s Day, Carl Brown and Amie Russell from Russell and Brown will be creating vintage hairstyles in the FACT foyer on Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16.
