The Hateful Eight is set to burst on to cinema screens with all guns blazing this coming Christmas Day.
The latest flick from Quentin Tarantino’s cinematic genius has been shrouded in secrecy since the Pulp Fiction writer/director confirmed its production would go ahead despite a script leak.
The Weinstein Co is set to debut The Hateful Eight with a special 70mm film print on Christmas Day this holiday season.
A wider digital release is planned to roll out in more cinemas beginning on January 8, 2016.
Set in post-Civil War Wyoming, the film follows eight travellers who are brought together during a massive blizzard.
The title characters will be played by Kurt Russell, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Demián Bichir, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Samuel L Jackson, with Channing Tatum and Zoë Bell also appearing.
A live script reading for the movie was held last year in Hollywood following the leak, although significant changes have reportedly been made since that point.
