Terminator: Genisys will receive sequels in 2017 and 2018, it has been revealed.
Paramount Pictures is planning to release the second entry in the rebooted series on 19th May, 2017, with the third instalment slated for 29th June the following year.
The two sequels will be filmed back to back after production on Genisys has wrapped up, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Terminator: Genisys will see Arnold Schwarzenegger return to the science fiction franchise, with Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith and Jai Courtney among the supporting cast.
Thor: The Dark World filmmaker Alan Taylor will direct Genisys, but it is yet to be confirmed whether he will return for the sequels.
Terminator: Genisys will be released in UK theatres on 26th June next year.
