Ryan Gosling has admitted that he often finds himself fantasising about being a bank robber.
He lives out his fantasy as a stunt-man turned getaway driver in Drive and a stuntman-turned-bank robber in new movie The Place Beyond The Pines.
He even admitted he’d have a go at robbing a bank if he didn’t think he’d end up behind bars.
The Hollywood hunk said: “I’ve always had this fantasy about robbing banks, but I’m scared of jail. I’ll never do it, but I would if I didn’t have to go to jail.”
He added: “We shot all the bank robberies in one take so I got to have as close to the real experience as possible, as close as I’m ever going to get. I got it out of my system.”
Ryan, 32, said that he wasn’t too crazy about the many tattoos his character, Luke, has in his new film.
Ryan said the temporary tats, which director Derek Cianfrance insisted on him having, left him feeling “embarrassed.”
He said: “I regret the face tattoo. All the tattoos I wear in the movie — I don’t know how necessary they are, but they were a part of trying to understand this character.”
Swoon.
