Ong Bak star Tony Jaa has joined the cast of the upcoming Kickboxer remake.
The martial arts expert was added to the film’s roster today (6th August), along with Undisputed 2’s Scott Adkins.
The pair join the previously-confirmed Dave Bautista, George St Pierre and stuntman Alain Moussi in Stephen Fung’s 3D take on the Jean-Claude Van Damme movie.
Kickboxer follows a martial artists who travels to Thailand to avenge the death of his brother, killed in the ring by the vicious Tong Po (Bautista).
The original Kickboxer made $15 million at the box office from a budget of just $1.5 million when it was released in 1989.
A sequel written by The Dark Knight scribe David S Goyer followed in 1991.
