The first image from Quentin Tarantino’ Sony Pictures film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has been posted online by star Leondardo DiCaprio, it shows he and hi costar Brad Pitt suited up in 60s style clothing.
Leonardo DiCaprio was the first actor to sign onto the movie, he was rapidly followed by Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Now though, the cast has been assembled quite well. The film will also feature Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Tim Roth and a handful of other stars.
Quentin Tarantino describes this film as “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate.”
This move is reportedly scheduled for release on August 9th 2019, a significant date, which marks the 50th Anniversary of the Tate/LaBianca murders carried out by the Manson Family.
