St Trinians star Juno Temple is most likely breathing a sigh of relief after being given a more child friendly role in Maleficent.
The actress lives in LA and is following in the footsteps of her successful parent Julian Temple, the movie director.
Juno is used to playing roles which require her to be naked, including Afternoon Delight where she portrayed a stripper who longed to give up her career to become a nanny for a family.
Although having playing a few roles in the past that have required her to strip down, while discussing her role in Afternoon Delight, she explained how it never gets easier to bare your skin.
“That moment when you’re about to derobe is like, ‘Oh f***, I’m going to be so naked in front of these people’.”
Although the actress appreciates the work and enjoys her job, she is excited about playing a more comfortable role.
Come May, Juno will be playing a pixie in the Disney remake of Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent.
She added: “I’m not going to lie. If you’d told little Juno aged five to twelve that I was going to play a pixie in a movie, I’d have freaked out.”
Although the actress didn’t get to act alongside A-lister Angelina Jolie, the star said she had fun with her co-stars Lesley Manville and Imelda Staunton who were simulating the flying of fairies by donning wires and harnesses right beside her.
“They were so much fun, so giggly and so genius. They can just tap into their inner eight-year-old. I had the best time with them.”
As well as playing her lifelong dream of playing a fairy in May, the actress also has a few other titles to look out for during the year.
These include the horror Magic Magic also staring Micheal Cera coming in April and the much anticipated sequel to Sin City, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For in August.
