Johnny Depp has joined the cast of Kevin Smith’s next movie, Yoga Hosers.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star will appear in the action-adventure alongside his daughter, Lily-Rose Depp.
The film’s supporting cast includes Michael Parks, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, Ralph Garman, Jennifer Schwalbach and Harley Morenstein, as well as Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith.
Yoga Hosers follows two teenage yoga enthusiasts who team up with a legendary man-hunter name Guy Lapointe (Depp) to fight for their lives when an ancient evil rises up from beneath Canada’s crust, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project, said to be comic book-esque in tone, will be Smith’s follow-up to Tusk, which also stars Long, Osment, Parks and Harley Quinn Smith.
Smith is also attempting to develop a third entry in his Clerks series, although the venture recently suffered a setback when franchise owners The Weinstein Company passed on the sequel.
