It is not yet clear which Star Wars character origin movie he will focus on, but rumours have already been circulating amongst fans abpout which character it will be.
A few popular speculations are either Yoda or Boba Fett may be starring in their own movie and the possibility of Luke Skywalker’s untold adventures being revealed.
This announcement is sure to excite Star Wars fans who are already cautiously anticipating the December 2015 release of Star Wars: Episode VII, directed J. J. Abrams after the Lucasfilm-Disney handover in 2012.
Let’s hope that both directors can deliver and remind fans why Star Wars has remained such a cult franchise and captured our imagination.
