When creating the perfect poster, film companies will spend hundreds of hours and pounds to ensure they attract as many people as possible.

With the arrival of video in 1980’s Ghana, a small scale mobile cinema was created to travel around villages.

To attract more viewers to their mobile cinema displays, they differentiated themselves by producing their own unique versions of the original box office posters, painted on sliced up canvases.

Some artists simply copied the original versions, whilst other posters were unique as the artist was able to add or change scenes.

The posters can be purchased online from a variety of websites.
