Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is reportedly in talks to join the cast of a movie exploring the origins of the Great Wall of China.
The actor could soon join Matt Damon in Zhang Yimou’s Chinese epic The Great Wall, according to Deadline.
Ed Zwick was previously attached to the Legendary Pictures project as director, with Benjamin Walker and Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill leading the cast.
Walker is still understood to be on board, along with Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang, of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon fame.
Cranston’s role in the film is yet to be revealed, but you can expect it to be a far cry from his acclaimed outing as meth magnate Walter White and his recent part in the Godzilla reboot.
A release date for The Great Wall is yet to be announced.
