Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder has revealed an official photograph of the Batmobile from the movie via his Instagram account.
The latest version of the Dark Knight’s vehicle appears different to any other we have seen on screen, heavily armoured with mounted guns on the front.
There are some similarities to the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, such as the tank-like motif.
Directed by Man of Steel helmer Snyder, Batman v Superman stars Henry Cavill as the Last Son of Krypton, Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
The film will mark the first time that DC Comics’ three most iconic heroes have shared the big screen together.
Man of Steel stars Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne will revist their roles, while Social network actor Jesse Eisenberg will play a younger incarnation of the villainous Lex Luthor.
Batman v Superman will pave the way for Warner Bros’ upcoming superhero team-up project Justice League, which Snyder is also set to direct.
The film will be released in cinemas on 25th March, 2016.
