Ron Burgundy has been leaving a trail of hilarity on his marketing campaign for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
In his latest stunt Will Ferrell’s character teamed up with French dance artists Daft Punk to take a quick ride around Amsterdam on a tandem bike.
Photos soon emerged on the photo sharing social network site Instagram, that revealed the stunt was for the MTV awards in the city that night.
Ferrell appeared as Ron Burgundy for the entirety of the awards show, to mixed reviews, and even presented Eminem with his award.
After the rapper and Burgundy exchanged lines from Anchorman, he asked Eminem “I hate to stir it up, but Afrojack has been talking sh– about you, anything you wanna say?” to which he replied “who?”
The Funny Or Die star has been on the comedic war path with the marketing campaign for Anchorman 2.
The Campaign star has been pulling hilarious stunts all over the globe to market the Anchorman sequel, including an address to Australia about the Melbourne Cup. Last week he addressed Britain about ‘smelly pirate hookers’ and has even been featured in a US advertising campaign for Dodge.
In an ultimate show his commitment to the movie, the star has written a 224 page memoirs for Ron Burgundy titled ‘Let Me Off At The Top!’
The book was featured on the New Yorker website earlier this month, when it was described as a “shockingly candid and raw confessional from an international treasure.”
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is due out in cinemas December 19.
