Knutsford will soon have its own slice of the Big Apple when the Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria comes to town in November 2015.
New Moon Company, headed up by award-winning restaurateur Paul Newman and Celebrity Chef Patron David Mooney, will open their eighth site, adding this latest conceptual offering to their growing portfolio of successful North West restaurants.
The Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria on Princess Street in the heart of Knutsford will offer cocktails from a strong team of experienced mixologists creating that New York style gritty, edgy drinks menu. This will be complemented with a unique food offering of small pizzas called pizzettas.
The Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria brings a twist to the restaurant and bar scene. Customers will be transported to the cool laid-back vibe only the New York boroughs offer.
It is set to become a popular hotspot, one of Cheshire’s must-visit eateries. The high-end cocktails and laid-back food can be indulged whilst enjoying the hip hop beats that The City That Never Sleeps is famous for.
The site is being designed by DV8 Designs and will have a laidback, intimate, and industrial ‘down and dirty feel.’ Customers can hear the sounds, taste the tastes and feel of New York from the comfort of Knutsford. It is not only a new edgy cocktail-led bar, it brings a whole unique vibe and authentic experience to the area.
Paul Newman, Managing Director, says: ‘Our sister restaurant, The Old Sessions House, is three years old and one of our biggest issues is the place isn’t big enough. Knutsford has always been about food, now it can be a little about wet stuff rather than just solids; a cool alternative to our customers’ nights. Right up the street.’
The Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria will open its doors to the public on the towards the end of November 2015. Chef Patron David Mooney adds: ‘Sh!t hot cocktails and dead small pizzas in a cool place your grandmother wouldn’t be seen dead at – we can not wait to open our doors.’
