My wife and I visited mid week and chose to indulge in a facial, which was the ultimate self care treat, 45 minutes of pure, unadulterated mind-melting bliss.

Close your eyes while their healing hands concentrate on releasing the tension and stress brought about from day-to-day living. It was a treat to relax and receive treatment next to each other, which is something we felt like we hadn’t done for too long!
The friendly and knowledgeable staff made us feel relaxed and at home, we were able to reminisce about our wedding reception at the hotel eight years ago while the hand selected Temple Spa products left our skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Featuring an array of healing rooms like no other in the city, you can reap the benefits of the Himalayan salt sauna, herbal sauna, aroma steam room, tepidarium, and relaxation areas.
To complement this, there is an incredible outdoor courtyard vitality pool, which allows you to step out from the warmth of the saunas into a blissful bubbling retreat and gaze up at starry skies.
Once your body is feeling re-energised from the hydrotherapy bubbles, there is another entrance that you can swim through to the indoor heated swimming pool. From here, you can stretch out your body and start the whole process again, revisiting your favourite wet and hot rooms.
All the while the attentive and knowledgeable Hope Street Hotel staff are on hand to help and guide you through the experience. Whilst you are relaxing, you can also order refreshments from the spa restaurant and bar.

Boasting such an amazing facility, it would make you think that it would be constantly full, but if you time your visit right and take advantage of their amazing spa and stay offer, it can feel like you have the place to yourselves.
After several hours of indulging our bodies in the best the spa has to offer, we retreated to our room. We had the privilege of staying in a corner suite with an awe-inspiring view of the famous Liverpool skyline.
The decor is minimalist white chic with sumptuous wooden and leather finish, with everything on hand you could wish for on a relaxing retreat.
Sitting pretty atop the hill, hope street hotel’s suites offer a panoramic view of your favourite city landmarks. We had a bathroom view of the Metropolitan Cathedral, which was again a special treat for us, as that’s where we had our wedding ceremony.
We found it hard to get out of the couples bath and back to reality. But it’s a lovely touch that you can simply slip on your bathrobe and head down to the spa in the lift. Making you feel like you’re in your very own city centre palace.
When morning finally rolls round, you can enjoy breakfast in the hotel’s 1931 restaurant. Whatever dietary needs you have, the talented chefs have got you covered.
If you’re a fan of getting some prime protein over the traditional cooked breakfast, you have a wide selection to choose from.
We plumped for the Eggs Florentine on sourdough, with delicious coffee to get us ready and revived to walk back out into the wide world again.
