The rise of Neo-Soul Jazz master XamVolo continues with the release of his new single Feels Good today.

Bringing UK R&B, old-school Soul and Jazz into the 21st century, the hotly-tipped Liverpool based singer, songwriter and producer has already garnered notable attention across the internet and airwaves. Drawing comparisons with the likes of D’Angelo, Anderson Paak & Thundercat, he has notched up critical acclaim and impressive plays with coveted spots on Spotify playlists and viral charts.

This incredible momentum is set to continue with new single Feels Good. Written and produced by XamVolo alongside heavyweights Paul Phamous, AV, Cedric Mitchell and Matthew Genovese, Feels Good lays his jazz influence bare with a sample from the legendary Thelonius Monk, while creating a unique contemporary hybrid with slick beats and soulful vocals.

Speaking about the track, XamVolo says:
” I wanted to capture a feeling.. That headspace you’re in when it’s 4am at a house party in a neighbourhood you’ve never been to.. That moment when you slowly realise you’ve spent the last 40 minutes on the couch staring at the vinyl stacked next to the TV.. When you find yourself wading from smoke-filled room to smoke-filled room, talking about everything and nothing to nameless people, drinking nameless drinks from bottomless cups, heedless, certain of nothing except the fact that – for once – nothing matters. That’s the vibe, it’s a good feeling.”

At the age of 23, XamVolo is wise beyond his years. A true artist, he oversees every element of his music and has taken a conceptual approach to his debut album, live shows and artwork. He’s been championed by a wealth of tastemakers – from Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Huw Stephens and MistaJam through to Esquire, Clash and The Hunger (to name but a few) – and sought after by a number of notable producers, including Robert Glasper (Kendrick Lamar, Common and The Robert Glasper Experiment), KidBrother (Frank Ocean) and J-Roc (Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Timbaland)

The ex-architecture student is currently dividing his time between festival appearances and sessions in the studio as he completes his debut album due to be released by Universal worldwide early 2018.
