Teresa and Jørgen the super-duo Tibi & her cello take the reigns as DJs for the Summer Mix-tape Monday sessions. Directions: Play tracks in the room next to your bathroom, fill bath with bubbles, candles and rubber duckies. Soak well until toes are wrinkly. Dry, massage lotions and potions until silky smooth. Off to bed…
Teresa said: “We have been a bit between England and Norway the last year and though our base is in Oslo now Liverpool will always be important to us.”
Our latest track “Mirame” came out as a live video just a week ago and got premiered in HISSIG (music magazine) which was very exciting. We have also been working on two new singles which will follow shortly, and with the releases more gigs will come.
Our Summer has been a writing and recording adventure so it will be great to come out and play again soon.
Bath Tub Mix-tape Monday
We travel a lot and have very unstructured sleeping patterns. For us a 30-minute bath with the right mix-tape is the perfect way of re-energising. If it’s at home, in a hotel or at some friends’ house it doesn’t matter. Our goal is to be able to take a little breather in the company of good music.
In our mix-tape there’s a combination of artists from the 50’s to 2013. These are artists that we admire and listen to a lot, and with a touch of Teresa’s Spanish heritage it also shows a lot of Tibi & her cello’s influences.
1) Father John Misty – Funtimes in Babylon
2) Chet Baker – It Could Happen to You
3) Paul Simon – Some Folks’ Lives Roll Easy
4) Cesaria Evora – Besame Mucho

6) Billie Holiday – God Bless the Child
7) Jeff Buckley – Lilac Wine
8) Luz Casal – Piensa en mi
