Following the critically acclaimed UK Top 10 album ‘Wonder Days’ last year, UK rock legends Thunder have shot straight to the top of official UK music DVD chart this week with their brand new release ‘All You Can Eat’.
Impressively, they did this with only two days’ sales, outstripping the other titles which had been on sale for a full week.
The highly personal DVD documents the story of ‘Wonder Days’, Thunder’s first studio album for 6 years, and includes a live album, a live in-the-studio session, and a documentary film. ‘All You Can Eat’ is a superbly packaged presentation, showing how the band have battled through the face of adversary and crafted a comeback that’s sealed their reputation as one of Britain’s biggest contemporary rock bands.
It’s no surprise that Thunder will be celebrating later this month with a five-date UK tour including their first-ever headline show at Wembley Arena – supported by Terrorvision and King King. This follows last week’s charity fundraising double-header at London’s 100 Club/Gibson Music Rooms, where the band played intimate shows to the lucky fans who had managed to get their hands on tickets.
Thunder follow the release of ‘All You Can Eat’ with three Limited Edition 12” vinyl albums on February 19th through earMusic. Live At RAK Studio 1 and Live At The Brooklyn Bowl are both double vinyl albums and Live At Loud Park is a single vinyl album. Full details and links to buy can be found at www.thunderonline.com.
