Fresh from their triumphant Glastonbury appearance, The Vaccines hit the road again this summer with a string of festival dates across Europe.

In October the band will head out on their biggest headline tour to date on home soil, as well as supporting Arctic Monkeys on their UK arena tour.

The headline dates will culminate in a show at the legendary Brixton Academy in early December.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday 1st July via www.gigsandtours.com and will be priced at £15, London £17.50.

Powered by hits Post Break-Up Sex and If You Wanna, The Vaccine’s debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? has recently been certified Gold.

The LP was released to universal praise in March, garnering four-star reviews from Q, Mojo, Uncut and The Daily Telegraph.

The NME went on to state ‘The Vaccines do it better than any British band have done in years.’

The band are also beginning to make inroads in the States, where they were joined onstage in New York by Lyle Preslar, formerly of legendary punk band Minor Threat.

The group’s time in NYC also saw them appear on the iconic Late Show with David Letterman.

The group’s festival dates will see the four-piece return to the US to play the Escape to New York festival before heading to Japan to play the Fuji Rock Festival and on to Australia to play at Splendour in the Grass.

Following that, the quartet will return to Blighty for sets at Reading and Leeds Festival over the August Bank Holiday.

The band will also announce headline shows for Scotland and Ireland soon.
