Electro-rock duo The Big Pink have announced a headline UK tour to coincide with the release of new single Stay Gold. See below for details.

The first single to be taken from the band’s next album, the track was given its world premiere on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show last week, with the accompanying video aired on the band’s website.

The group have also confirmed that their long-awaited second album, Future This is to be released in January 2012.

The band, centred around the duo of Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell have hinted that the forthcoming LP is likely to have a hip-hop direction.

Breaking into the public consciousness with hit single Dominos in September 2009, the band won huge acclaim for their debut album A Brief History of Love.

Hitting the road this November, the band will be headlining nine shows with support coming from much tipped London duo 2:54 (all dates except Leeds).
