The legendary Ghostbusters theme tune has been released as a limited edition vinyl on Record Store Day to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the comedy classic and Purple Revolver made sure they were first in line today to pick up the special glow in the dark disc.
Ray Parker Jr.’s GhostBusters will be a 10inch, glow in the dark record, which will feature an instrumental version, a rare dance remix, and a dub-step version.
Only 1,000 of these vinyl’s have been produced, which makes them as rare as Slimer’s goop and a big tick on any avid fan’s checklist.
As if Record Store Day wasn’t already a big day on your calendar, with Special vinyl releases from Nirvana and David Bowie to boot, today will also see hundreds of artists making their way to your neighbourhood vinyl dens for special appearances and performances worldwide.
