Paul Heaton (ex-Housemartins & Beautiful South front man) has announced a new tour titled Pedals and Beer Pumps Tour.
Paul Heaton will be peddling his music all over England; playing in local pubs across the country whilst giving a boost to the profile of those archetypal ewld english past-times cycling and the fine art of supping ale.
The Pedals and Beer Pumps Tour will begin with a quick half in The Rovers Return in Manchester from which Paul will be followed by his band and touring team; staying in the places they encounter on this charming quest.
Paul said “I’m looking forward to pedalling around the country to promote cycling and the British pub. Both are very close to my heart. I’ve been cycling all my life and the British pub has provided most of my favourite stop off points.”
Paul will deliver tracks from his new solo album and will be delving occasionally into his richly extensive back catalogue.
“It saddens me to hear about so many pubs closing on a weekly basis so I want to do all I can to get people back to their local.”
Paul has sold several million records worldwide, but any fan will know the shows in these little gems of pubs will be as great as any stadium or or arena with a much more intimate feel.
Good luck from the team at Purple Revolver Paul!
