The platinum selling folksters Mumford & Sons have announced details of their new single this week, along with festival dates earmarked for the summer around the British Isles.
Following the runaway success of their first album Sigh No More, the band are ready with their 4th single to confirm their standing as the current darlings of folk-rock. ‘Roll Away Your Stone’ is the next instalment from the flannel shirted quartet, due to hit the shelves on the 7th of June through Gentleman Of The Road/Island Records.
The new single will be supplemented with a live recording of ‘White Blank Page’, performed at one of the band’s recent headline dates at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. The lads are currently on the road touring Europe ahead of a near completely sold-out tour of America. They are also due to follow their hectic British festival schedule with a spate of Australian shows, all of which have now sold out.
