Liverpool’s newest gig promoters Milk: Presents have announced details of their second event, following the huge success of their inaugural party.

Taking place at the creative hub of Milk HQ above the old Cabin Club, The Loft will play host to three of the best up and coming bands in the North West as well as a DJ set to keep revellers entertained into the small hours.

Headliners Manchester The Louche FC’s performances have been described as a beguiling, sometimes disorientating, experience.

A guitar three-piece who cite the influence of music terrorists such as Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields, the group summon up a noise-rock assault which proudly turns up the amplifiers and threatens audiences with full-on sensory overload.

Lucky Beaches, whose second single Group Hallucination has just been released follow their incendiary recent performances around the city centre with a slot at the Milk event.

With the band confirmed to play Liverpool Music Week in November and their debut album nearing completion, the group are highly likely to break big soon.

Wet Mouth meanwhile are a four-piece girl, boy, girl, boy band formed in 2011, respectively from England, Norway, Los Angeles (US), and Canada. With a killer sub-pop era vibe, the band claim to create songs that make your teeth move.

Concluding the evening are the Milk: Presents DJ who will be spinning tunes into the early hours.

Tickets are an unbelievably reasonable £5 and the event is bring your own booze, welcome relief in these straightened times.
