Becks Vier and 580 Ltd have teamed up to bring the UK’s best venues an eclectic mix of music, art and film.
The tour is heading for Bristol’s Start the Bus between the June, 17-20 featuring none other than the likes of pop’s lady in waiting Little Boots.
Bursting onto the scene back in 2009, her debut album Hands was nominated for a BRIT critics choice award followed by a top 10 single and a peak at number five in the UK album chart.
With all this under her belt, she’s sure to be a perfect candidate for a steller DJ set. Noted for her quirky style and killer tunes, be sure to bring along your dancing boots.
DJ Cheeba, Dutch Uncles and Sunday Girl will also be taking the stage during the tour’s three day stay in Bristol. From the line up alone Purple Revolver recommends that you should lend your eager ears to these hipster socialites.
The motion picture talents of The Cabinet of the Living Cinema will be present for the public to feast their eyes upon and if that isn’t enough creative spark to get you going, Squeaky Hill Art & Comedy will also be around to delight your funny bones.
Alongside the tour, new Beck’s Vier fonts and glassware will also be on show, showcasing up-and-coming artists’ designs, each piece influenced by some of their favourite tunes.
In the past, the likes of Ladyhawke, Tracey Emin and Sam Taylor-Wood have all turned their creative flare to the Becks Vier glass.
What’s more, each event doesn’t cost a penny. It’s a first come, first served basis, so be sure to head down early to secure a seat (and a pint.) Up to date information on the individual nights can be found at www.facebook.com/becksvier.
