Cream and Purple Revolver have come together to offer one lucky the chance to win two tickets to Laidback Luke’s Super You&Me tour at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse on October the 11th.
At Super You&Me, you can forget about old school superstar DJ culture and go back to the future.
Here, everybody dresses up like his or her favourite costumed combatant, everybody gets down and everybody transforms into a superhero. Harness all your super powers, dress to impress and join Luke on an adventure of a lifetime.
Your journey will be mixed with enough energy, emotion and high-grade party production to satisfy even the most demanding party animal.
The line-up includes Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf better known as producer and DJ duo Blasterjaxx.
While one is often prominent and empowering, the other prefers staying quietly in the background – a fairly high contrast in character. However, there is one significant reason for the phenomenal connection between these two personalities: their passion and love of music.
The Chainsmokers are also in the mix. With live sets and productions that their own mothers describe as, “sounds nice, but a little loud,” these two always put on a show.
Apart from Social Darwinism, the thing that separates these two men from the rest is their unsettling and uncanny ability to discover and create trends.
Their signature sound has its foundations in Indie, Progressive and Pop Music. They each graduated from prestigious North-Eastern Universities, they like hot chicks in yoga pants, enjoy a good burger and have been rejected from many of the venues they now play at.
Since storming onto the scene in 2006, Thomas Gold has emerged as one of the most widely admired producers in modern dance music.
The Golden German remains relentless on the road to dance music dominance. 2014 finds Gold with a forthcoming single on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and highly anticipated collaborations with Borgeous and MAKJ in the works.
Tujamo is also in the line-up. After a bag full of remixes in 2010, the new Track “Back 2 You” feat. Robell Parker is released and finds its place in various Dance & Club charts.
In the meantime he has remixed the likes of Wynter Gordon, Da Hool, Peter Gelderblom, Boogie Pimps, Body Bangers, Plastik Funk or the massive No.1 Sales Hit “Nein Mann”.
Finally, whether it’s through their original releases, massive remixes, or legendary live shows like Sensation, Mysteryland and Ultra the past couple of years Sick Individuals have proved that their sound can tear up dance floors around the globe.
With fresh new releases on the horizon, it seems there’s no stopping these rising stars, so look out for their upcoming releases and be sure to catch the Sick boys at one of their live performances
It is a night not to be missed.
