BRIT Award nominees and seven-time GRAMMY-winning trio Lady Antebellum will open for American music icon Bruce Springsteen on July 14 for a sold-out concert at Hyde Park as part of this year’s Hard Rock Calling festival in London.
Lady A’s Charles Kelley said: “It’s Springsteen…there is no entertainer we look up to more than him. I’m going to be like a little kid at Christmas watching his show. It’s the biggest honour for us to be invited to play this festival…the line-up is awesome!”
These shows follow a massive run of sold-out dates in North America and after hitting the UK and Ireland the tour continues through Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Lady Antebellum recently won Best Group at the American Music Awards and were nominated for a BRIT Award for Best International Group alongside Foo Fighters, Fleet Foxes and Maroon 5.
The band’s album Own The Night entered the UK album charts at #4 in October and has sold over 100,000 copies in the UK to date.
