KOL bassist Jared Followill has admitted that the band are facing serious internal problems after lead singer Caleb left a recent US gig during the show.

The Tennessee native left fans reeling after excusing himself from their sell out Dallas show with the promise to return for three more songs, before disappearing backstage.

The remaining members returned to apologise to the fans and explain that their front man would not be returning.

Caleb has been said to have been suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration, making it impossible for him to perform.

As a result of the fiasco they have decided to pull out of their US tour entirely. Their publicist released this statement;

“We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.”

“The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break.”

His brother Jared has offered up a more serious and more plausible excuse for the band cancelling shows. Speaking via his Twitter account he shared;

“I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

“There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed.” He added.

The band, who haven’t put a foot wrong in recent years, may be beginning to slide down the slippery slope of many an ill fated rock n roll band.
