Jack White’s plans for the impending Record Store Day at his Third Man Records HQ promise an extra special treat for cool kids in Nashville.
As part of the festivities, rock and roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis will perform a special one-off concert at the White Stripes star’s Third Man store.
According to their marketing arm, Lewis will be backed by an all-star band including Steve Cropper (Booker T & The MGs), Jim Keltner (Bob Dylan, Neil Young’s drummer), and Jack Lawrence (bassist with The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather).
For those of us not able to jump a plane for Tennesse, Jack will be recording the whole thing for a forthcoming release on Third Man Records.
Tickets will be $30 and went on sale yesterday – Monday, April 4th, at the Third Man HQ in Nashville and online.
Doors will open 4pm and the show will begin at 5pm on Saturday, April 16th.
As an added bonus, attendees of the concert will receive a Jerry Lee Lewis Live at Third Man limited edition black and blue vinyl edition.
