Italian London-based songwriter Emma Danelon is a force to be reckoned with on new electro infused bop

London-based Italian songwriter Emma Danelon dissects narratives from personal life-experiences and delivers through sonic motifs, electro-pop instrumentation and drum machines with combined with subgenres including Latin and K-pop.

Blending a mesmeric melody with provocative electrical loops, trap and contemporary R&B, new bop “Howling” sees Emma deliver empowering vocals that explore the moment of finding strength in a weak moment.

Discussing the single, she says: “The idea was to create a new hypnotic, dark, strong, unique and avant-garde atmosphere with powerful and straight forward lyrics. I felt like it was a period of time in which I needed to let go of toxicity, so I wrote this song.”

The stylish, self-proclaimed director of randomness attributes her adolescence to Michael Jackson, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, and has since embraced modern pop influences such as Banks, Dua Lipa, Jai Paul and Frank Ocean.

Her buoyant energy is teeming with the inherent grit, introspect, poise and emotive grace of her predecessors. With over 130k organic streams, and press support from Notion, Emma is certainly an artist on the rise.
