Bristol-based pop punks HIGHLIVES have released their brand new single ‘Nothing Left’. The track bounces with energetic drums and high-octane lead guitar phrases that shimmer and glare in equal measure.

The band explains, “The track explores how a negative mind-set can push someone away in a romantic relationship whilst reflecting on the feelings that come with the absence of a loved one.” The lyrics are reflective and sorrowful, with contemplations of loss, regret and the sensation of time passing.

The single follows their EP Misguided Youth, released in 2015 to great reviews. Consequently, the band have garnered interest from the likes of Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Scuzz TV and more for their previous singles ‘Better Days’ and ‘Wake Me Up’.

HIGHLIVES have toured extensively across the UK, building a dedicated fan
base through their restless, relentless attitude. In addition to headline shows
they have shared the stage with the likes of Neck Deep, As It Is, Boston
Manor and many more.

The band – comprised of Liam Edwards (vocals), Ben Lucas (guitar/vocals), Jordan Tomkins (guitar/vocals), James Holt (bass) and Steve Parks (drums) – will be gigging around the UK as follows with more dates to be announced as the year progresses.
