Goldfrapp have announced a unique cinema event to tie in with their latest album Tales Of Us.
A screening of the special 30-minute film will be broadcast in selected cinemas worldwide on March, 4.
The film follows the stories of five people featured on the album – Stranger, Jo, Drew, Laurel and Annabel, whose lives interconnect through themes such as love, loss, madness and identity.
The film was co-created by Alison Goldfrapp and Nowhere Boy’s Lisa Gunning.
Alison Goldfrapp said: “We’re very excited to present a unique event, the Tales Of Us film alongside an intimate live performance, to our fans across the world. We’ve loved touring the Tales Of Us album and can’t wait to bring our live show to local cinemas.”
After the screening viewers will see a live performance by Goldfrapp, which will be transmitted from the legendary Air Studios in London.
Exact details of the select locations will be revealed on the Goldfrapp website, official Facebook and Twitter pages over the coming weeks.
