Welsh rockers Funeral For A Friend play sendoff shows in an explosive celebration of guitarist Darran Smith’s time with the band.

The quintet will play breakthrough album ‘Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation’ in its entirety – plus a few extra little surprises to keep the audiences on their toes.

Darran is leaving the band after this years’s Sonisphere Festival to concentrate on family life, while FFAF are reshuffling the ranks in time for the release of album number five.

Current bassist Gavin Burroughs is moving to guitar, whilst Ex-Hondo Maclean/The Future bassist Richard Boucher has joined on four string.

FFAF is recording their new album and asking fans to ‘Pledge’ for exclusive opportunities to get involved and make the record. Check: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/funeralforafriend

They are offering Skype chats, guitar lessons, rehearsals and pizza, gig tickets and signed limited edition discs with 10% of any profits donated to PETA, Teenage Cancer Trust and the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

Thu 22 Jul: Cardiff, University
Fri 23 Jul: London, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire

Newcomers Young Guns will be supporting FFAF at both these shows – all other details of the evening are being kept under wraps for now.

Tickets are available exclusively from www.crowdsurge.com/funeralforafriend at 9am on Wednesday 19th May, 48 hours before they go on general sale.
